I Think of You (A Love Poem)

And so it seems they all begin
A glorious sunset . . . or starry night
Of moon-drops, dripping silver light
Of flowers bee-kissed-colors bright
Of wave-sung ocean song,
Of seabirds winging softly long
Of cellos humming strings delight
Of softly glowing candlelight
Of birds and blossoms colors bold
Of lavenders, or pink and gold
Of purring kittens soft with love
Of things below and things above
Of Baby’s Breath, still moist with dew
Of floating clouds in sky of blue
In all these things
I think of you
